Studies and polls have found that Chattanooga is tidy and that it’s one of the best towns ever, among other accolades. Now, two new studies found that it’s also one of the best cities for nurse practitioners and surgeons to work.
According to consumer finance website Value Penguin, Chattanooga is No. 2 of the best cities for nurse practitioners and the 10th-best city in the United States for surgeons.
Both conclusions are based on what nurse practitioners and surgeons can earn in the city, how affordable it is to live here and the area’s demand for the profession.
The only other Tennessee city to make the lists is Clarksville, which is named as a good place for surgeons to work.
